This OSHA 10-hour course is intended for workers in General Industry. It is designed to teach workplace safety and reduce jobsite hazards. This course provides a convenient way for workers to learn about hazard avoidance, workers’ rights, filing an OSHA Complaint and more,
Content (10 Modules):
This course emphasizes California Code of Regulation (CCR), Title 8 for General Industry Standards and compliance. The Cal/OSHA 30-hour General Industry training is formulated for safety directors, managers, forepersons, and supervisors having direct or indirect responsibilities for the safety of employees they supervise. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not necessarily Cal/OSHA standards, although reference to the standards are within the materials. “I highly recommend this course. Mr. Melendez is an outstanding instructor whose experience and knowledge base is second to none. The course covered several OSHA related safety topics along with current and new trends. A must for anyone thinking about entering the safety field!”
