Statistical Process Control, commonly referred to as SPC, is a data-driven methodology for quality analysis and process improvement. In manufacturing no two products or characteristics are ever exactly same. Traditionally, product quality is ensured by post-manufacturing inspection of the product. In contrast, SPC uses statistical tools to observe the performance of the production process in order to detect significant variations before they result in the production of a sub-standard or defective product. This course consists of a balance of lecture, practical exercises, group workshops and supplemental handout information. The instructor will guide students through real-world SPC examples so participants can effectively apply what they have learned. This training can be customized to fit the needs and current systems of your organization. We can deliver this training at your location or in our facilities.

Lean is not a cost-cutting tool or project. Lean is a management philosophy, a way of thinking and operating for an entire organization. The fundamental idea of Lean is to maximize customer value while minimizing waste. In other words, lean means creating more value for customers using fewer resources. Doing more with less! Eliminating or minimizing inefficiencies along entire value streams, instead of at isolated points, creates processes that are easier, better, faster and less expensive and with much fewer defects, compared with traditional systems. Some believe that lean is suited only for manufacturing. That is not the case. Lean applies in every organization and every process. Organizations in all industries, including service providers are using lean principles. Healthcare, government and education are also using lean principles. It’s a given – not everyone on your team is going to have the same work style and clash happens. One person may like to talk things out while another prefers to create a checklist alone. Half the team wants a quick decision, while the other half needs time to consider all their options first. Good, bad or neutral, these behavior styles shape how your employees see the world, communicate with each other and prioritize activities. In the office, the inherent friction of people with a room of differing behaviors can produce significant problems. We use colors — Orange, Gold, Green and Blue — to differentiate the four central primary personality types. In this fun, interactive and insightful personality-identification system. We teach people how to identify and recognize different personalities, and better understand themselves and others. Experience trans-formative change by learning to:
  •  Understand and appreciate characteristics of self and others
  • Recognize own and others’ values, joys and strengths
  • Reduce potential conflict, frustration and stress
  • Deepen relationships and create a more harmonious environment
  • Enhance communication skills
  • Work better together
  • Increase employee involvement and engagement
  • Improve employee attitudes and opinions
  • Enhance overall communication
  • Nurture employee work environment
Our training can help teams significantly improve communication and prevent conflict which improves productivity and performance! “The Managing Personalities Training was a lot of fun. I enjoyed getting to know myself more, and also the differing personalities of my coworkers. I’m able to better understand now that some of the conflicts that come up with the people I see every day at work are due to differences in personality – and that it’s actually a good thing to have multiple personality-types in the office. I definitely recommend doing this training alongside other coworkers from your office/organization. Thank you, Training Resource Center, for your helpful contribution to the effectiveness and an increased sense of teamwork among the people in our office.” – Kyle, previous trainee. This course consists of a balance of lecture, discussions, and supplemental handout information. The instructor will guide students through the class to provide participants with the knowledge of Lean principles, as well as typical Lean tools and methods, so they can to begin their Lean exploration. Experience trans-formative change by learning to:  Understand and appreciate characteristics of self and others Recognize own and others’ values, joys and strengths Reduce potential conflict, frustration and stress Deepen relationships and create a more harmonious environment Enhance communication skills Work better together Increase employee involvement and engagement Improve employee attitudes and opinions Enhance overall communication Nurture employee work environment Our training can help teams significantly improve communication and prevent conflict which improves productivity and performance!
