No, community education classes are not-for-credit courses. There are no units or grades. Our classes have been developed to meet specific needs or interest in the community, not for academic credit. There are usually no books to buy and no tests to take.

As all community education classes are not-for-credit, financial aid is not available for these classes.  Private student loans are available for our Medical Career Step courses and Ed2go Online Career Training.

Classes held on the Visalia, Hanford and Tulare Campuses are held to the guidelines listed on the campus parking page.

Community education classes are offered at no cost to the district (not State or federally funded). A minimum number of students must be enrolled in order for the class to be held. The decision whether to cancel is made one to two days before the class begins and is based on the number of fully paid fees on that date. As such, please register early. You will be notified if a class you are enrolled in is cancelled.

Please see our cancellation & refund page for complete details regarding refunds and cancellation of classes. If we cancel a class you will receive a full refund.
