Pre-Inspector Level 1 Training was designed to educate participants to patrol power lines to ensure vegetation clearance in accordance with safety regulations.

Through the two-weeks course, participants will cover a variety of topics such as:

  • General safety
  • Tree biology, growth rates, identification, and clearance
  • Utility tree risk assessment and hazard tree assessment
  • Contracts and customer communications
  • Reporting electronic tools
